The solution to the tax issue is to get rid of cash.

Everyone is issued a social security debit card. You wouldn't use any other credit cards or cash though you would tie your existing cards and accounts to the card.

You would insert your card at a store and then choose which bank or card company you wanted to take funds from.

Drug dealers, prostitutes, contractors, etc would all have to claim the heir flow of funds. Taxes could be reduced, the national debt wound be less, or services ( military ) could be increased.
