The plot thickens…. The Supreme Court just ruled against a government agencies authority to make regulations.

Basically what it means is that if government wants laws and regulations enacted those must be passed by the Congress, not turned over to the politically appointed head of an agency to have a regulation pushed into law (bypassing Congress and the Constitution).

This should mean that many of these regulations will not be lawful, and must be routed through Congress for votes before they can become lawful and enforced.

Maybe some of these more onerous regulations will quickly fade away. Usually the dems fight it in court as a delaying tactic. But the Supreme Court has already ruled, this is likely a waste of time since no lower court can overrule the Supreme Court.

This should put a kink in their plans to shut down the GOM and the Permian Basin. Please pass the popcorn…..
