They were not!

Evidently Anavex trials are all designed for a long stretched out suck and see approach, not at all to fail quickly. How many investors have been here since 2014 or before, every year saying this is the year of Anavex?

HOW ARE/WERE THE AVXL TRIALS DESIGNED TO FAIL QUICKLY?

Take the PDD P2 trial that ended up labelled a Proof of Concept trial now 2 years later still waiting for the next trial to start.

The very small P2a AD trial on which more soup has cooked for coming up to 6 years.

The two very small adult Rett trials, that ended up having 6 patients in a suck it and see PK/PD pre-trial and again in AVATAR, this time with 3 patients doing a suck and see first.

Its been a suck and see, adjust and keep on going for the longest time - absolute no sign of boldly trying to fail and get it over with or go big and get it done.

Thus far forever close, but no cigar yet and looking as good as ever...

No complaining at all, there could well be sense in the Missling approach - we will eventually soon'ish know for sure maybe this year or the next.

Ninety something WGT scores are for after a confirmatory trial win and before dosh is being made. Win dosh ticking in then close to 100% WGT but not touching, as something can always still go wrong with biotech and medicine.
