Yep. Smith makes great revolvers. I think that is why Mercedes is partial to the MP9s. I used to collect revolvers. Many were Smith's. I had a model 10 that supposed to belong to Al Capone (certified so). I sold all of it in a divorce. I just have two stainless 686s now - 1 on boat, 1 at house. The 686 is probably my fav gun right now... even over an older Python I had. Kimber too. That red notched front sight is pretty good for doing math with. I like it a lot. I even carry it sometimes in a shoulder holster with two speed loaders. LOL

I have a quaint home defense stable - nothing expensive - Walther PPQ, Smith 686, Mossberg 930 Pro, Bushmaster AR for house and boat. I don't need or want the ridiculous like I once did.
