It's probably due to the fact that the landlord wasn't about to take worthless shares for the rent payments - Nelson is a con man living off of people willing to buy his crap shares because "they are cheap" but they are also worthless.

Sarasota real estate takes real money not stinky pinky shares as payment.

I may drive by the location later today to see if there is anything left in the building.
