I just called Schwab. I recorded the process.

From the time the Schwab automated answering system picked up, to the moment a real person answered was: 1:15 minutes.

You have to jump through the automated hoops first. Enter last 4 digits of social security number. Enter zip code

Say a short phrase of what you are calling about.

But it took 1:15 minutes.
