And another object of concern I want to address to the people who are new to investing, when you make your profits, what are your plans? New car, pay off the mortgage, get into a new mortgage, pay off the old car note, what is your goal?
I've always believed in owning things in cash, reason I always believed in this is because if I can't afford it means I need to make more money, or to let it fall by the wayside, or find it cheaper down the road. Plus, I never want anyone hounding me and taking my stuff away for non payment. If you own, buy it with cash, if you finance you run a risk to lose it all.
People think that if you make a million or so dollars, you should give your money away. Well that's a mentality of nonsensical results. If you give your money away, give it away to entities you believe in, give it away to something that gives you a R.O.I outside of money, it can be a smile, or making a difference in someone else's life or lives. Make sure that if you give something away, that you do it with care, and not with the malice of greed because that makes you a messed up individual.
This is the message I would tell to young investors, just getting your feet wet. Don't tell anyone outside of your wife or husband how much you gained, and if you can't trust them don't tell them either, because the moment you do you will see people that you haven't seen in a long while contacting you and asking you for some, but then ask yourself, but don't ask them "where was this person?" I'll tell you the answer these are the same people that never believed in you and talked crap behind your back, so since they did, tell them these words, "I'm not sorry, because I won't" and stick to your guns.
