cad: We already knew, just like the other vaccines, INO-4800 is less effective against delta; so it likely has a further reduction against omicron, just like the other vaccines. Inovio doesn't want to compare efficacies with the other 2 doses + boost vaccines. Indeed, the only fair comparison is with those phase 1 and phase 2 volunteers who were also boosted with a third dose of INO-4800. (Anyone know many such volunteers are there?)
So my guess is Inovio has been collecting lab-based data against omicron on these volunteers. This takes time. And my _wish_ is that Drs. Broderick, Kim, et.al. are currently finishing up a report "Lab-based Binding, Neutralizing, and Cellular response against the omicron variant among volunteers who had 3 doses of INO-4800"; with a preprint made available online BEFORE Christmas. (But I'll also take "BEFORE New Year".)
*BTW, the PR posted on Inovio's website said "with data expected in the coming weeks", _not_ "in two weeks".
