I'm noticing an alarming trend when navigating news websites as well as some others. With mostly goog owned sites like yahoo and utube, there was a annoying and potentially destructive trick the sites used that pretty much was made almost illegal and that was when your cursor hovered over a target for a second or so, the target would open another window or tab automatically. Not only is this obnoxious and annoying, it's a wide open exploit waiting to happen for malware.

Seems to be making a comeback as I see multiple tabs open when I'm on yahoo or uboob from a link in some forum post or whatever. I scroll the article without clicking and sometimes leave my mouse just relaxed and it will slide over the sides of the page. Then tabs start popping up.

I will have to investigate if something is wrong with my browser or have some virus. None of the time does the extra tabs link away from the site, but are the sites line up of articles it's trying to push at me.

Just a heads up.
