Dave/Meatloaf, Posting an image now is much more difficult than it was under the older set-up. Then as now one could click image on the left and get the image notation on your draft page. In the old set-up your cursor then would be blinking neatly between that notation, just where you wanted to paste the image url. And the image notation would NOT be highlighted. So at that stage it was simply paste the url. Presto.

So then it was copy image url, click img notation on left, past image url.

Now when you click image on the left the image notation in your draft is highlighted. And no cursor blinking where it has to be to paste. So now if you just paste you lose the img notation. Then have to highlight the url and click Image on the left again.

If now you want to use the simple old method you have to click the Image on left, then very carefully place your cursor in between the img notations (and that gap is smaller than it used to be), thus getting rid of the highlight. Then paste.

It seriously is a real nuisance now as the three step old deal was so much more efficient and so much easier.

is the latest i've struggled through. You could use it to understand what i've tried to make clear above.

Of course now , as you could before too, you can paste the image url first. Then highlight it. Then click image on the left.

That method as it involves highlighting the image url is not nearly as efficient as the 3-step i used to be able to do.
