Man, I must be getting old. I remember all of the great names you mentioned.
Bill Buckner, an old favorite. Tore up the league with Steve Garvey, then Los Angeles Dodger. Always had a talent for batting as he was in the top ten batting average list year in & year out. It was a joy watching him here in Chicago playing for the Cubs. Quite unfortunate that he will be always remembered for one play in the World Series.
