Today (23 September 2021) is the day prior to OMOLIVE's planned surgery. He hasn't posted since the 20th, which I presume is due to his focusing on his pre-op preparations. I hope he is still reading posts here.

If so, OMOLIVES, you have our best wishes going your way. If you can have someone post or post yourself after the surgery to let your friends on DD Fraud know you are on the recovery road, that would be great, as many of us, maybe all of us, are going to be thinking of you and worried until we hear that you're in the recovery and rehab zone.

Also, in the first day post-op you will be sedated but might still notice an occasional feeling like your heart is flopping around like a fish out of water - just momentarily. This is normal. Don't panic. The types of surgery you're getting commonly cause a bit of cardiogenic shock in the first day or two of post-op. You will be closely monitored and this flopping fish feeling, if it happens at all, is not unexpected. The staff monitoring your heart has all kinds of drugs to correct any important rhythm issues, and devices beyond that if needed. So stay calm. This will go away in a day or two.

No surgery is totally risk-free, but the procedures you will be undergoing are done routinely and, as in many things, practice makes perfect. The more that these procedures are done by a team, the better the team gets at making things go as smoothly as possible.

Just don't ask the nurses or food service workers for a rare ribeye with a loaded baked potato. Not yet anyway.

Good luck and we hope to read a post from you or your appointed messenger soon.
