On the subject of patents, it's rare that companies PR their patents.

To that point, the last time Northwest announced in a press release any new patents was eight years ago in September 2013.

And yet, in 2020, they were issued three new patents; in 2019, Northwest Bio was issued six new patents; in 2018, they were issued two new patents, and in 2017, six new patents were issued - and these can all be found as noted in their 10-Ks.

And none of those new patents were ever PR’d.

It’s very possible that the company has purposely chosen not to publicize these patents via public press releases as they may not one to shine a spotlight on the patent, especially if there are methods of production they would prefer not to draw outside attention to at this current time.
