You guessed more or less right but not my kids. I suppose I polluted their education with baseball and golf.

Was thinking about something, sometimes I was pitcher, when someone better, and most were better, I was in the outfield, that I was very good at, as soon as the bat hit the ball I knew exactly where it was going.

Except on day, I miscalculated. I saw that the ball would sail over my head by at least 6 feet.

I'm not making this shit up.

I took off my baseball cap and tossed it in the air, and damned if the ball didn't hit it and drop down, right into my hands.

The whole game was halted while they consulted the rule book.

With no clear rules regarding throwing a hat in the air, the batter was sent to try again. He was good, and I suspect pissed at me, and sent the ball directly into my glove. I didn't even have to move, it was headed straight for me.

Excellent shot. If had been golf, he hit a hole in one.
