The problem is not that I do not understand how Linda Powers might be thinking. I do and I would like what you are saying to be true and not just the interpretation and compilation of fragmentary information driven by what long-term shareholders all want to see happen. The issue is that plenty of commentators have gotten just as excited about all the breadcrumbs she supposedly left out there, swallowed them while almost choked on them. All the signs that seemed so clear ended up signifying little or another and last year was just the most recent example. Maybe this time will be different.
