The about blank on a new computer is just what the manufacturer set the home page to. Chances of a new computer being infected with a browser hijacker are next to nil. Install a good antivirus program and a couple of anti spyware programs and away you go. I use AVG, spybot s&d, adaware, and spyware blaster.
