4 Words You Do Not Want to Hear…

“I never knew you”

Jesus Christ uttered those words, and to the dismay of many, will utter them again at the final judgement.

Deception is one of satan’s greatest weapons that is used against all peoples – including those that proclaim to be Christians. To truly know someone, we must have a personal relationship with them. There are many people that have a false sense of salvation based upon a superficial experience, or, a belief that because God is using them for His purpose all is well.

Characteristics of salvation in a person is a changed life – to include our thoughts, words, actions and deeds. This transformation occurs over time as we develop a personal relationship with the Lord. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit guides us in this relationship development process/transformation. It will be our desire to spend time with the Lord – to get to know Him and His will for our life.

Many have a false-sense of salvation based upon being used by God in the donation of time/resources to help others. This is also one of satan’s deceptive tactics. God uses His entire creation (includes “saved” and “unsaved” people) to bring about His purpose and goal.

The bottom line is if we are saved by grace, our entire being will day-by-day be transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ. If that process is not occurring within your heart, mind, body and soul – then there is a real possibility that you are not saved, and are only being deceived.

“Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity.” ~ Matthew 7:22-23
