Thanks for your kind thoughts, K2.

The recent days have been hot, most of them north of 100 degrees. I understand that the heat wave has made its way into the Dakotas.

I'm going to the air-conditioned gym instead of riding my road bike. It's too hot even in the morning.

Years ago cooling summer thunderstorms coming up from Mexico deposited bunches of rain on my town but they have been AWOL for some time.
