I wish you all the best of luck with your 50K shares! Hopefully, you took advantage of the gift that was provided to all of us AVXL holders back in early February and reduced the cost basis on your 50K shares to $0.00...
I too am a long-term holder (80K core shares) and I certainly consider myself to be a true long, as I would never even consider shorting AVXL. However, I have decided to take advantage of the vast majority of opportunities that AVXL has provided over the past few years to trade it (banking a ton of profit along the way), and there is no way am I not going to take advantage of the many opportunities that I believe AVXL will continue to provide in the future to trade for profits as well...
