I think we agree. In NO WAY am I saying sick children should be in school. Absolutely NOT! But because a child has a fever does not mean the entire class should be canceled! That means students must work from home online until a test result on Covid is established. Send the sick student home until the test results are received.

Your link stated... At this time, it still appears that severe illness due to COVID-19 is rare among children.

What we need is a 10 Minute Rapid Covid test. Parents can sign off to accept results. If not they get a call to come pick up their child just like any other sickness.

There are still schools that are not in session in the classroom.
Let's say you have a 3rd grader who is reading at a 2nd grade level as of last year end of school. This year the child is in 4th grade and still reading at 2nd grade. A few hours online from home is not helping but is hurting the child's reading. Don't blame parents who both are working and have one or more children who also need attention at night.
At the end of this year the child is now going into 5th grade and most likely still at a 2 or 3 grade level.

Come on OPTI get the weShield deal completed and get the 10 Minute Rapid Covid tests in schools.

I don't call people names or use vulgar language in Public or Private. Once you cuss and call someone names you lost the argument and also lost your class. You have nothing else left to defend your comment. Statements are my Opinion only. Do your own DD.
