ONE PROSECUTOR’S LETTER HAS TUCKER CARLSON FACING THIS GOVERNMENT INVESTIGATION

Liberals want Tucker Carlson off the air.

Democrats are grinning from ear to ear after this announcement.

And one prosecutor’s letter has Tucker Carlson facing this government investigation.

The incompetent Baltimore City State Attorney Marilyn Mosby fired off a letter to the Federal Communications Commission demanding an investigation into Fox Affiliate WBFF-TV over their coverage of her disastrous Black Lives Matter-inspired soft-on-crime policies and for coordinating with Tucker Carlson on negative stories about her tenure.

Mosby claimed the channel’s coverage was “inflammatory against the safety of an elected official.”

In the letter to Federal Communications Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, Mosby’s Communications Director Zy Richardson wrote that WBFF’s negative coverage of Mosby was dangerous because critical coverage of the job Mosby did could expose her to angry residents.

“There appears to be an intentional crusade against State’s Attorney Mosby, which given today’s politically charged and divisive environment, is extremely dangerous,” Richardson wrote.

As liberals are wont to these days, Richardson claimed news that was critical of a Democrat was misinformation.

“I have noted that the news coverage of the WBFF persistently follows a disconcerting and dangerous pattern: beginning with a slanted, rigged, misleading, or inflammatory headline; followed by a conspiracy theory; and supported with guest commentary from disgruntled ex-employees or political opponents that lend false credibility to their biased coverage or omission of facts,” the letter added.

Amazingly, one of the articles Richardson complained was misinformation was a piece noting that Mosby selectively enforced the law by refusing to prosecute what she deemed to be low-level crimes, but which could lower the quality of life in Baltimore and hurt the residents.

Finally, Richardson claimed a secret connection between WBFF and Fox News—specifically Tucker Carlson.

Richardson trotted out the old standby smear that Carlson was a white supremacist to make her case, writing that there was an “editorial connection between WBFF and Fox News, which she said is ‘infamous for its bias against people of color.’ The letter said multiple civil rights groups have called for Tucker Carlson’s termination for ‘frequent endorsements of white supremacy views.’”

The modern Democrat Party believes in silencing all dissent and not allowing people that criticize its agenda to be allowed to air their views.

Mosby has a long history of controversy.

In 2015 critics contend she charged police officers with second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the death of Freddie Gray to satisfy Black Lives Matter rioters that threatened to burn the city to the ground unless their demands for mob justice were met.

Mosby’s work should be scrutinized and covered aggressively.

But Democrats do not believe in free speech or a free press and Mosby’s office wants the federal government to investigate a local TV affiliate and Tucker Carlson to try and prevent them from aggressively covering her office.
