BUY +1 VERTICAL WCN 100 18 JUN 21 120/125 CALL @2.85 LMT GTC [TO OPEN/TO OPEN]

If you want to get involved with options there is an old saying "better spread than dead." The reason for this is that buying options have characteristics that make them vary when the price goes nowhere. Buying spreads which is buying an option and then selling one might seem like an oxymoron, but really that is how traders nullify the varying value aka the volatility of the holding. It is like buying insurance on anything.

This is why there is a New York financial center and a Chicago one for options as well in my opinion. Because enough people recognized this and have been using it.

So here is your intro to those vast marketplaces.

If I want to use options on a stock I think is going to go higher, this is my general overall approach. This is also great when I want to keep money on the side and limit risk but have the same participation. Most people blow it in options when they have no discipline to keep money parked on the side then go full bore options and they all go away. Try 10 percent of your worth in options at a time max I would think also a better idea with respect to this. Anyhow...If you get good at it, then increase out a few percent at a time then wait twice as long as you want before doing it again for the predictable unpredictable event that you had dreamer glasses on to ignore. etc...

This is my actual buy order placed for Monday. Let's see if it gets filled and also if you want to beat my price go ahead. I can do this all day on any number of stocks and options no prob.
