we all did and I suspect a lot of newbies are going through the same thing right now after the Manias of the reddit stocks and the stinkies all doing ten bags and more

Your 1999 to summer 2000 sounds like mine. Took a few thousand in 1999 and turned into 6 figures by early 2000, then lost most of it by that summer
