I didnt say it wasn't a possibility. In rare exceptional cases that is possible. However, several posters on here discuss it as though it is part of a routine trial win or automatic. When I attempted to weigh in on the issue and set the record straight the discussion changed to a settlement including additional fees for the attorneys. A company will not add legal fees to a settlement when a trial win would only include legal fees in rare and unique situations. If deeper Discovery was allowed, which it was not, and evidence surfaced that ATVI was attempting to drag the Court proceedings out and bankrupt WDDD, then they would have a shot, a long shot, at recovering legal fees. It is simply misleading and irresponsible for people to say that WDDD will recover legal fees and include that in trial win or settlement estimates. The same for treble damages - it is a possibility at the discretion of the Court, not a guaranteed part of a trial win. Some on here have suggested that people be banned from the board for spreading false information or not discussing real information. I am simply trying to put "real" information out there and correct some of the pumping, lies or misinformation.

People are mad and frustrated that this case took so long. Part of what derailed the timeline was the Whitey Bulger case. That is not the fault of ATVI. I am long WDDD and have been for years. However, on many occasions when I question the "misinformation" some get agitated. I don't think it is right for people who hold themselves out as educated and experienced in these matters to mislead others (not referring to you) about relatively simple topics. We have gone through these issues in the past and some of the same posters knowingly continue to post misinformation about these subjects.
