Yup, Oxygen is also a toxic poison if too much is taken into the human body. Just hyperventilate for only a measly two minutes, like some who hyperventilate for years about the toxicity of coal and see if you can stay conscious. Too much oxygen damages your eyes so you can't see properly, and your lungs, so you cant breathe normally.

Arsenic is also toxic to the human body, but without adequate arsenic levels there is damage to your health. Arsenic deficiency causes problems the heart and bones. Of course, too much arsenic intake and you die.

Coal is a necessity in our society for productions of medicines, plastics, fiber, other very helpful products. This will not end in our lifetimes or the lifetimes of our great grandchildren. Of course, inhaling large amounts of coal dust is dangerous to us, and large amounts of particulates cast into the air from smoke stacks is unhealthful.

Be grateful to the coal miners who produce the essential ingredients to your homes, cars, medicines, fibers, plastics, and other products used every day.
