Although I find the whole incident highly disturbing, I tend to believe Comstock over the Short Selling outfit, for even if Comstock is overly optimistic about lithium battery recycling (and I believe they are) mining and mercury remediation both seem full of promise.

Note also how the short sellers have lumped the two companies together in their press release, yet most of the truly appalling news concerns the other company, not Comstock.

In any case, mud has just been thrown everywhere indiscriminately, and Corrado has a lot of clean up to do to get the facts out. Comstock not only has to clean up the mercury, they now also need to clean up the mud. How ironic.
