I think it was the occasional whacks from the Franciscan nuns throughout grammar school and the stern, dour Jesuits in high school that kept me on the straight and narrow. When I think of the corporal punishment of those days, lol. But we're not on drugs or in prison so I thank them. And they worked for a pittance and had no retirement money so I double thank them.
I agree with you- we have a wonderful board. Thank you for highlighting that so it's not overlooked. With the proliferation of stock forums, ihub has quieted down and I find it quite enjoyable now. This board is, as you have noted in the past, a no nonsense stock news and plays board. fuzzy brings the morning stock news highlights. And bar brings the solid, big name stocks to light and insightful commentary on. I try to put occasional plays on when I feel there is a good reward-risk ratio. TH brings us news from California and literary vignettes when we are lucky. EZ brings keen commentary on topical events and humor galore, often gallow! Ske is the rock steady captain of the ship, keeping us sailing. One of the best developments is that tuffy has been able to reclaim some time for non board life, well deservedly falling back to regular contributor. And Will Rogers said for there to be a parade, there has to be an audience so thank you carp for your contributions, regularly commenting on the posts. Yes, in our own quiet way, we have a real nice board.
Regarding the heavy construction workload you have, it sounds outdoors. Ouch!
