My starting position was $1500 and I would take profits out when the position rose to $3000 or $3500. That's a big difference compared to a 'bet the farm' approach.

Another difference is I original got in GRWG at 7 (it's now ~50), so that would compare to buying CYDY in 2019 when it was .25-.50 cents. For me GRWG has never been more than a modest part of a diversified portfolio.

Betting the farm on a single high risk bio stock is something newbies do. You've been around long enough to know that. You should re-watch the movie 'Treasure of Sierra Madre', and listen to what Walter Huston says about what greed does to people. Instead of riches what you get is poverty or worse. Years ago a broker I knew bet huge on a bio stock called Viratek and lost everything, his job, his house, and his wife left him. He had been a Deacon at his church.
