For my non-ira account I have no stock only trade futures with CC.

I only trade itm CC on futures. It has tax advantage in that wash sale rule does not apply to futures, and even though it is all short term gain(loss), the gain is taxed at 60% LT & 40% ST.

For futures CC I go ~5% itm for ES, and ~10% itm for rty for safe cushion. I only use 40% of my cash account, leave 60% to guard against possible black swan event.
