Usually those [cover stories] imply the opposite…

They often do, when the stories are bearish during a brutal bear market. I’ve pointed this out previously—e.g. #msg-51844154, #msg-80256243, #msg-36360161, #msg-35980601.

However, bearish calls during the kind of “wild” bull market we’ve been experiencing since Mar 2020 may be worthy of more serious consideration.
