I’m holding $SHWZ until federal legalization and uplisting to the big boards.

Last December Justin Dye took over as CEO and brought his entire team who worked on taking Albertson’s from a $10 billion company to a $60 billion company through mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. He also brought along Nirup Krishnamurthy who was a pinnacle piece for one of the biggest corporate turnarounds in American history with Delta Airlines. A former GE CEO, Jeff Gardwood has just joined the board of directors. I believe this is the best management team in cannabis.

They closed on Mesa Organics and Purplebee’s on 4/20. They are really close to closing on Starbuds. SHWZ currently owns 4 dispensaries and one of the largest extraction operations in cannabis. Once Starbuds closes, they will have 17 dispensaries, extraction, manufacturing, a grow and will be a complete seed to sale company. Management has hinted that there are more deals in the pipeline and has stated their pipeline is very robust. They also have Josh Haupt as the chief cultivation officer, and he has been dubbed the Steve Jobs of cannabis because of revolutionizing the cultivation side of cannabis. Jim Parco is senior Vice President of manufacturing and was brought on after the Mesa Organics/Purplebee’s acquisition. Brian Ruden, owner of Starbuds is already a director.

This year was really hard for SHWZ because of having a lot of deals fall through, but I believe it’s because the former CEO did not know what it was going to take to acquire the companies, did not set proper expectations, and overpromised and underdelivered.

Upon closing on Starbuds, the company’s proforma revenue for 2020 would be $90 million. It’s currently trading with a market cap of $50m. It’s float is currently 28 million shares. I believe this company is undervalued.
