There’s no way the 19th century miners did anything but find stuff and lie about it to the general public. There’s plenty of gold there, however there are more people willing to lie or keep secrets about it than there are folks willing to say “so come on, let’s go!” Like Jeff Williams and actually “touch shit with their hands” (Tommy Lee Jones). So as long as we live in a society that values a 22 year old California or New York bachelors degree in hating white men more than they do a 46 year old former Marine & Eagle Scout with decades of hands on experience, we will continue to see ignorance control the “narrative” and public understanding using their artificial academic accreditation.

The 19th century miners didn’t know the true value of aquamarine and pink tourmaline at Oceanview and Himalaya Mines in San Diego. The Chinese miners literally tossed large blue aquamarine off the side of a cliff. So honestly, the crooked will of man coupled with 19th century technology means that there was more graft and corruption going on than we all could imagine. They don’t dig 3,000 foot shafts and come up with “nothing”.

The average college student graduating with a degree in geology couldn’t recognize the difference between a $300 Spinel or a $30,000 Alexandrite. However they can lock you and I down in our homes with an advanced “belief” in “The Science” and self anointed PhD-MD in Epidemiology and NBC warfare.
