The IP security systems (if you select the correct manufacturer) have seriously crazy analytics which assist first responders much more than mapping software.

With an integrated system of access control, IP security camera system, VoIP system with informacast and IP public address systems is the best electronic solutions for K-12 facilities.

Construction also is a big adder to the safety of a school, including secured vestibules, traffic control and guard stations at parking lot entrances.

Mapping software is never a talking point when discussing school security.
