It would only sound odd to those unfamiliar with how TAs function for legitimate stocks. nearly all of them update at least daily and make the updates available by phone call.

There is no non-public share count data on share structure unless the company itself orders the TA not to disclose ( as most penny faux companies do), or the TA themselves choose to make non-disclosure their policy in order to attract penny "trash" business.
