I hope it works out well for all shareholders. As for the "why borrow trouble" part, I wasn't borrowing trouble, just telling it like it is.

We had a relatively well known quantity in the former GORO.

Now we don't.

No guidance. No foreplay. No nothing. Just SURPRISE !!!!! .

As for management expecting a different reaction, there's no doubt in my mind they were expecting a different reaction or at least hoping for it.

Now all the current management has to do is hold on, outlast the outrage and hope it all blows over. They get to keep their jobs, and ditch the dividend all in one fell swoop.

Pretty slick.

I seriously doubt earning the reputation as "underhanded managers" worries anybody. Look at the rest of the industry. Have you seen ANY indication they worry about that kind of sh*t ?

The "betterment of shareholders" was assured leaving it the hell alone.

The miner formerly known as GORO was a one man gang with a full spectrum of precious and industrial metals to show for it.

I hope it works out well for all shareholders in spite of the betrayal.

I thought this company was different, but clearly I was wrong.
