I'm in a high risk age group and go out shopping regularly. I simply wear a mask.

Even the gun stores and ranges social distance. I also hang out with my grandson that is going to school. He wears a plastic face shield at school. He's in private school since public schools are closed down.

We can protect ourselves if we so desire. I started going out regularly once I saw the number of deaths drop dramatically. And, I don't know anyone in my area that knows a covid patient. My dr has even started back up with in person visits instead of video appointments.

I'm still rooting for Brilacidin to be helpful against covid. The upcoming trial will tell.

The elderly, and working-age adults with chronic health conditions, together make up approximately 5% to 25% of Americans, depending on how that high-risk group is defined.

How is that high-risk population supposed to protect themselves, or be protected, from everyone else?
