UK may start COVID-19 vaccine 'challenge studies'

The fastest way to test whether a vaccine works is to deliberately expose vaccinated people to the virus.

As in, inject then with the coronavirus.

If they get infected, the vaccine didn't work.

If they don't get sick, or not very sick, it did work.

It's a much faster approach than waiting around for vaccinated people taking all possible precautions against infection to accidentally get exposed, which is what all the other trials are currently doing.

Of course, ethical challenges abound, but healthy young people are lining up to volunteer.

P.S., If you do get a Covid-19 vaccination, keep in mind that it will take at least two weeks for your body to mount a decent immune response, and probably a second vaccine shot, so don't throw your mask in the trash nor ignore social distancing too soon.
