CONCLUSION

If I would have told you that Eastern Airlines and Pan Am are vying for dominance in Latin America, you wouldn’t be blamed for thinking I was in the wrong decade. I don’t see this latest incarnation taking off anytime soon, but Tatum has taken out a page from Baltia’s playbook. Well done.

Amazing. The Avatar idea seems to be backed up by others well respected in the industry. Avatar and Pan Am both with an eye for Latin America. Pan Am would be wise to choose Panama City as it's main Hub. Costa Rica is fraught with corruption, high taxes, fees, and terrible labor policies. Just ask COPA.

I know, I live in CR. And have lived in the Canal Zone. If VZ situation ever returns with real democracy... which it will... that would be my first choice to place a HUB in Caracas. The 747's will haul a lot of O&G supplies as the oil industry is in shambles in VZ while they are sitting on one of the largest world deposits of O&G that has yet to be tapped but was on the verge of it when Hugo Chavez got ideas of dictatorship.
