The play could be executed perfectly and the receiver still not be open...could be a problem with the field conditions, such as poor or chewed up grass, mud etc...weather issues such as rain, snow, extreme cold etc....

Could be the defense anticipated the call and were prepared for it....could be the defense is just plain better than your offense...

Believing you have the perfect play and have practiced it enough does not ensure victory...

You STILL have to perform under game time conditions execute in real time conditions...

You can’t just submit the play diagram and insist it would be a touchdown....

You gotta prove it...
