Sars-Cov1 is nicknamed the Swine Flu.
Sars-Cov2 is nicknamed Covid19 after the year it significantly infected humans, but it is a flu family variant that has been present in animals and studied by humans for a very long time. "Flu" is not some specific scientific designation of narrow scope.

Taking the word "flu" out of the nickname does not scientifically remove it from the flu family category. According to the CDC:

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid_weekly/index.htm

Comorbidities
Table 3 shows the types of health conditions and contributing causes mentioned in conjunction with deaths involving coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death.

All US covid confirmed AND presumed with or without the average 2.6 additional health problems each equally deadly (a co-morbidity) total 179,927 reported as of 9/16/2020 (over 1 month into the new flu season).

The 6% where covid was the only cause of death yields 10,796 fatalities due to the covid flu solely as recorded since 2/1/20. This would also include presumed, but not confirmed, covid only fatality and includes over 1 month of the new flu season's fatalities.

Given a typical flu season fatality rate WITH MULTIPLE VACCINES available yielding a range of 25k-60k dead Americans, the covid flu is statistically insignificant as a singular flu fatality cause.

Unfortunately for our stock price, statisticians are in need of breaking out the co-morbidities or else they risk skewing the fatality data of the other things which have NOT suddenly been cured this last year and do still have their own associated annual fatality rates.

Fortunately for our stock price, we are putting together treatments that will hopefully reduce symptoms and/or reduce infection duration and will apply across multiple Sars-COV versions of the flu.
