I'll tell you why this is extremely important. About 2 years or so ago Anheuser-Busch announced they were planning on ordering 800 Nikola Ev trucks. I got ahold of them through their investor relations department and said they should reconsider as these units were not proven. I explained how I used to run a fleet of trucks and I felt the NatGas units were becoming cost competitive with diesel.
To my surprise they told me they were already testing a number of NatGas powered class 8 trucks. No number given, but said they were preforming as expected.

Fast forward to this announcement. The NatGas (CNG), units must be proving themselves very cost effective. Converting 30% + of their fleet proves this.

More truckers, fleet owners are realizing this fact. This is why RNG, an even more environmentally friendly fuel, will absolutely be the go to fuel of the future.

PS they have also been testing a few Nikola trucks over the past year or so. They wouldn't say, but this latest announcement might give us a clue as to the direction they'll be taking in the future.
