Possible for sure. I read the other day the bullion banks are sitting on a 35 billion short position they'd like to unwind.

The other possibility is they let us rise today in order to smash tomorrow and wednesday. They might be able to get gold down under 1900 again, but if they do it won't last.

If they do it that way it starts from a lower starting point when it finally does spike, in order to (somewhat) contain the new high.
