Damn did we have the mud from the snow. We had equal to over 2 foot of snow
plus the rain and then it rained the next day.
On the bright side, the next day since Wife was home, she watched the gate
for me while I fed cows and it started to pour. Well I soaked, came in,
took my over shirt/jacket thing and about 3+ cups of water dripped out
of it on the floor. Well Wife took her boots off and hung her coat that
has a "waterproof" shell on it- she hung the coat on a hook.
made some soup, we warmed up, dried out, she put on dry socks etc.
Well she had to go outside for something. So she grabbed a different coat
-a rain coat- since it was still raining light. Then she put her foot in
her boot. It was half full of water that dripped in. She screamed and
then had a 1st class cussing and yelling fit. I asked what was wrong-
Was she ok? The she yelled out what happened with her boot.
couldn't stop laughing.....just couldn't.....had tears...
shoulda seen her standing with what was her clean dry sock
just dripping....well actually more than a drip, water
running off......
just couldn't help but laugh
