Reading about the Nikla story leaves me with the impression that the story is incomplete.

First there are many off the shelf battery and fuel cell solutions such as panasonic, and Quantumscape.

Secondly the fact that xnrgi was never able to make inroads in either the fuel cell or battery arena indicates that the majority of companies do their due diligence. Therefor I really find it hard to believe that GM made this deal blindly.

Yes Theranos managed to secure investors that blindly gave them millions but thats medicine where investors live in the world of blind faith.

There's noting that should have blinded anyone GM. You either have something that works or you don't. There has to be something.
