I am a more operation driven person. Whenever people tell me how well something can be sold, I always thinks how much it takes to sell it. I was involved in a medical device product launch in 7 countries in EU in my last job. I was on the global side of the team in the HQs in US. It was an eye-opening experience. Each country, regardless of the size, is really its own market with its own set of regulations, cultural and behavioral pattern. It's hard for Americans to understand how different these European countries are until you actually work with them. Every bit of difference means additional cost on top of whatever you've built in the US.
