Doesn't it seem wrong though for MC to saddle the GSES with onerous capital requirements to use as leverage to get the US Congress to approve his dream world of multiple govt guaranteed MBS issuers?

It's almost like he is holding Americans hostage by burdening them with higher gfee costs, UNLESS CONGRESS BENDS TO HIS WILL!

He is (currently) the untouchable CZAR over the twins, though isn't he?
