that's somewhat relevant in the overall market pressure for upstream exploration and development wells but it lacks any connection to GSPE's corner of the market in GOM, or more specifically in GOM jackup rigs

last data I have is 11 jackup rigs warm stacked (idle but ready) and zero jackups drilling in GOM

a relevant data point on hurricane Laura is that the refinery operators didn't suffer any significant damage which could have led to downward pricing pressure on domestic crude production
