HSBC will spend more to digitize faster. "HSBC Sharpens Focus on Asia, Retreats From U.S. -- 3rd Update," at 1210 GMT, misspelled the bank's name as HBSC in the headline and in the 9th paragraph. The error also occurred in original story as well as in initial and subsequent updates as well as in two editions of News Highlights and an EMEA Morning Briefing.

For anyone not understanding splits and record dates remember that if you want to be in before the split, you have to buy it up until the day before the actual split. Don't worry about the record date. If I have to hear Phil Leboe say one more time that TSLA split will be for those who own it on record date which is today - he should clarify that. You can buy it up until the trading day before the split and still get the split shares. If you sell it prior to the split day you will not be entitled to split shares. Here are two articles on it:

What if I buy between the record date and split date?

Similarly, if you purchase shares between this date, you will do so at the pre-split price and will receive your share split entitlement on the Ex Date.
