CONVERSATION with David Regan CEO from a fellow investor.
I had a good conversation with David. Of course he was not able to give me specific material information, but the tone of the conversatoin was excellent and I have complete confidence in them to take us all the way there.. Nothing to worry about here! They have recieved more deposits and LOI's... we need that FDA approval before we can scale mfg. and turn those LOI's into firm orders.
He did say definitivly that the Field Studies will be done within two weeks and the results will finalize the Submissions to Health Canada and the FDA. The FDA is aware of their test. Only the 3rd Antigen test to be approved, and the 1st & only one that does not need a reader machine to get results, nor medical personal to administer the test. He said that the reason for the FDA tightening up guidlines was due to the # of bad tests they had to recall. That's okay....the more reviews, validations, studies of Sona's test only serves to give it more credibility with more data supporting it. I asked him how long did he think for FDA approval... he said it could be 10 minutes or 2 weeks. If 2 weeks is the long end I can live with that. We are living in a new world. David said their test is ideal for airlines, work forces, schools etc to do ongoing screening. People will not need to go to a hospital, or lab to get tested..... as no medical personel required. A trained person on administering the test is all they will need.
They are working on a 2.0 test which would use Saliva.
David told me that it is amazing when he is in discussion with Scientests, Doctors, how amazed they are at what SONA'S GNR'S can do. They get visibly moved. It's never been done before, until now... "Sona" they did it. The ability to produce the GNR's and have them CTAB free is an amazing feat. Being free of CTAB makes it ingestable in humans and this changes the whole ball game in Diagnostic Imagining, Drug Delivery, Yep Our little Sona has done it.... I was happy to hear he is now aware of who Dr.Michel Mina from the Harvard Public Health School is. I had reached out to him and he requested Davids contact info.
It is not lost on David the Short Attacks...Once FDA approval and we move up with orders etc hopefully we will not be attractive to shorters. They had this one last delay to do their dirty work.
David said the three things they got that guarantee's success...
1.) The know how... they did what all other gold nanarod companies couldn't. The science behind this is theirs, and they have patents out on this technology.
2.) They have the right mix of antibodies for the Reagent. Three sources to supply the biologics.
3.) The product...the Gold Nanorods...best GNR's in the world. Their particular shape allows for more surface area contact.
