Share ALWAYS rise following a reverse split as that's the nature and intent of a reverse split. That said, I expect the pre-split share price to drop, providing a much improved buy point in weeks following the split.

The share price doesn't "RISE". It adjusts for the lack of the O/S shares available on the market..... Then, it typically goes down.
